POWERHOUSE AMERICA is a limited liability company (LLC) based in San Antonio, Texas (USA) with local contact office in the Philippines.

The company provides an array of professional review for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Nurse Licensure in the United States and secured Direct-Hire recruitment processing services for foreign nurses who intend to migrate. Powerhouse America LLC is registered through the US Corporation Commission and duly licensed in the State of Texas. It is founded by a registered nurse with a master’s degree in psychiatric nursing, a licensed teacher with another master’s degree in nursing education, and a sworn lawyer.

Our History

Born in 2006, POWERHOUSE was a self-start and served as a live-wire for young professionals to succeed in their dreams. Rooted with sincere intentions to afford everyone to develop and utilize their fullest potential especially for the less fortunate, financially challenged and those with no availability for resources to harness their talents and skills- having understood by the company Founder herself growing up from a family of meager income.

Started with a Local Board Nursing Review for the Nurse Licensure Examinations (NLE) in the Philippines, it focused on providing quality-driven and cost-effective instructions for board exam takers. A permit was granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to conduct trainings and reviews in the entire country. The first batch was composed of 17 students until it grew into more than a hundred then eventually thousands of reviewees having affiliated with Universities and College partners. Powerhouse produced Topnotchers from ranks TOP 1-10, its partner schools were also recognized as Top Performing Schools in the entire country for having 100% passing percentage plus topnothchers. The center was also awarded as the No. 1 and Most Quality Training and Review Center in the entire Philippines for five consecutive years making it to the Hall of Fame Awards, then further soaring high for being awarded as the Best Training & Review Center in Asia-Pacific Region.

From review services for nursing, it progressed into the fields of education (Board Licensure Examination for Professional teachers), psychometrician, criminology and civil service examinations. Powerhouse also offered nurse skills trainings (BLS, CPR with AED and IV Therapy) and became certified as a continuing professional education provider by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) of the Philippines.

With the dream of making Powerhouse as a one-stop center, it ventured to NCLEX and IELTS review programs with the end goal of bringing interested nurses to the United States of America. In 2016, Powerhouse conglomerate- POWERHOUSE AMERICA LLC officially opened its doors after completing necessary permits and licensing. The first batch of NCLEX Review was conducted in 2017 to the state of Arizona (USA). The company then moved to Texas, USA in 2018 as a Training, Recruitment and Staffing company. From 2019-2020, Powerhouse America provided support to the original Powerhouse (Philippines) while preparing for the realization and operations as a recruitment agency. In 2021, Powerhouse America started full operations for recruitment services plus NCLEX review. Launching for its staffing agency is set in motion for 2022.
